September 20, 2025 -- Blues Blast Magazine announced winners of its 18th Annual Music Awards. Thousands of Blues fans around the world voted, making the champs true "People's Choice" honorees. Winners include today's most popular chart-topping blues musicians and bands. In addition to Christopher Wyze & the Tellers, 2025 recipients included: Tab Benoit, Shmekia Copeland, Charlie Musselwhite, Derek Trucks. Keb 'Mo, Bobby Rush , and Duke Robillard, among others. Christopher Wyze & the Tellers jolted onto the global blues scene with "Stuck in the Mud” – their 13-track debut album of all-original music.  Recorded in Muscle Shoals, AL and Clarksdale, Miss., it catapulted onto blues album and singles charts worldwide, was streamed in 90 countries and ended last year at the #38 out of the Top 200 Blues Albums ranked by Roots Music Report.
